CLIENT STORY · KORVATO · MULTI-ASSET TRADING SOFTWARE · MIAMI

Two hires on payroll and a 90-day pod. Sprint closed on day 88.

Korvato builds AI-assisted execution software across forex, gold and crypto pairs, with funds never in custody. It needed two permanent seniors and a short blockchain-capable build without standing up a US crypto team. Odesa recruited both at a flat $7,999 each and ran a three-person pod for ninety days, about $94,000 below the traditional path.

Repo handed back. Both recruits joined Korvato's payroll after the 90-day guarantee window; the pod was released when the sprint ended.

THE COMPANY AND THE CHALLENGE

Two permanent seats, one short build, and a 30-day clock.

Korvato's bots execute across forex, metals and crypto without ever holding customer funds. Expanding the core engine and the customer-facing control panel meant two things at once: two senior engineers on payroll for the long run, and a scoped build for wallet-connect and on-chain event listeners that did not justify a permanent US crypto team.

A prior agency had quoted $28,000 to $32,000 to place a single senior and could not source blockchain-adjacent backend talent inside thirty days. Korvato wanted the hires without the percentage fee and the build without a retainer.

WHAT KORVATO NEEDED

✓ Two senior hires on its own payroll at a fixed fee

✓ A blockchain-capable pod for one 90-day sprint, then released

✓ Code and infrastructure handed back, no lock-in

THE COST COMPARISON

Odesa flat fee, per senior hire

Recruitment fees about 55% to 60% lower; pod about half the cost of an equivalent US contractor bench. Combined saving about $94,000.

WHAT ODESA DID

Flat-fee hires for the long run. A pod for the sprint.

One partner, two models. Odesa recruited the permanent seats and ran the temporary pod with a dedicated engagement lead for standups, scope control and the handoff. Korvato interviewed every candidate and made every decision.

1

Recruit two seniors at $7,999 each

A senior backend engineer on Node and a senior frontend engineer on React, sourced, evaluated and interview-coordinated by Odesa, hired directly onto Korvato's payroll with a 90-day replacement guarantee.

2

Stand up a three-person pod

A Solidity-capable backend engineer, a DevOps and cloud engineer and a QA engineer, with an Odesa engagement lead running standups and scope for the 90-day sprint.

3

Ship the sprint

Multi-asset bot control panel, broker adapter layer and the on-chain event service, with the funds-never-in-custody architecture intact. Sprint closed on day 88.

4

Hand back and release

CI/CD and the staging environment were rebuilt so Korvato owned the repo at handoff. The two recruits stayed; the pod was released when the sprint ended.

THE RESULTS

Two hires. One sprint. Repo handed back.

WHY IT HELD

Three things made the hybrid model work.

Two models, one partner

The permanent seats went through flat-fee recruitment; the short build went through a pod. One point of contact, one clear line for each.

A dedicated engagement lead

Standups, scope control and the handoff were run by an Odesa lead, so Korvato's founders were not managing three contractors on top of two new hires.

Built to be handed back

The pod's exit was planned from day one: rebuilt CI/CD, a staging environment Korvato owns, and no retainer after the sprint.
