How much does it cost to hire Eastern European developers through Odesa?
Staff augmentation rates range from $45-75/hr for senior engineers depending on technology specialization and experience level. Recruitment is a flat $3,999 per hire regardless of salary level. No. Odesa pricing is fully transparent. Staff augmentation is billed at the stated hourly rate with zero additional charges. Recruitment is a one-time flat fee per hire. We do not charge retainers, placement bonuses, administrative fees, or percentage-of-salary markups. Every cost is agreed upon before any engagement begins.

Staff augmentation is invoiced bi-weekly or monthly based on hours worked, Net 15. Recruitment fees are invoiced upon accepted offer and start date, Net 30. Custom development is billed on a milestone basis. We accept wire transfer, ACH, and credit card payments.

Process & Timeline

Average placement time is 4.2 days from initial discovery call to developer onboarding. The first matched candidate profiles are typically delivered within 48 hours of the discovery call. Urgent placements can sometimes be completed in 2-3 days.

Every developer goes through a multi-stage vetting process: (1) resume and experience verification, (2) live technical coding assessment in their primary technology stack, (3) system design and architecture evaluation, (4) English communication assessment, (5) professional background verification and reference checks. Only approximately 3% of applicants pass all stages and enter our active network.

After you accept a matched candidate, onboarding happens within 24-48 hours. Odesa handles all contract setup, NDA execution, and compliance paperwork. The developer is introduced to your team, given access to your development tools and codebase, and starts contributing immediately. A kickoff call with Val ensures alignment on expectations, communication cadence, and working hours.

Guarantees & Risk Management

Staff augmentation includes a 2-week risk-free trial. If the developer does not meet expectations during the trial, you pay nothing and Odesa provides an immediate replacement. Recruitment includes a 90-day performance guarantee with a free replacement hire if the candidate does not work
Odesa handles all legal, contractual, and compliance administration. All contracts are US-based with US legal protections. IP assignment is included in every engagement — all code, designs, and deliverables are your property. NDAs are executed before developers gain access to your systems. We also handle any international contractor compliance requirements.
Yes, and many clients do. After working with a developer through staff augmentation, you can convert them to a permanent hire through our recruitment service at the standard $3,999 flat fee. This gives you the advantage of hiring someone you have already validated.
